I am in love with eggcorn-spotting, the online and print sport of identifying understandable misspellings of popular words and phrases.

The classic eggcorn is the word "eggcorn" itself. It is an understandable misspelling of "acorn," an egg-shaped seed, and according to the OED, the print use of this word goes back to 1844.
But there are many and hilarious others, such as "lack toast and tolerant," instead of "lactose intolerant."
Just for fun, see how many eggcorns you can spot in the following paragraph of text. To make it a bit more difficult, I've peppered the selection with correctly-spelled words and phrases. There is also a fake eggcorn in there that I think would be funny if it were real.
In this day in age, only those with their eyes on the prize can hone in on the financial rewards available to the adherents of lazy-fare economics. Others have quite a tough road to hoe. You think I've come to lamblast socialists and reek havoc on the entrepreneurially timid? Not on your life. You think I'm that detached from reality, as if I'm having an outer body experience? A2, Brute? I do not write in sandscript, and I am not deaf to the pleas of the many. The fact is, wealth is available to all but the star-craving mad-- you don't need to be a rocket scientist or even a ten-year professor-- if only they will follow these few steps, directions and advice, which I can't emphasize with enough explanation points (!!!!). If you follow them, you will be a shoe-in for your children to be to the manor born. You want more? You will have to make dew with these. After all, I do not want to give you a mindgrain. We have done all we can; there is no tomorrow. And so, ado, ado. Parting is such sweet sorrow.
There are 16 eggcorns in the selection and 1 fake eggcorn-- as far as I know. (Source: Eggcorn Database).
